The PatientTransporter at Northwest Medical Center facilitates the efficient functioningof the patient care unit by performing transportation of patients, supplies,specimen and medication distribution.

Transports patientsto and from their inpatient beds and other areas like therapy, surgery orradiology. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, labresults, supplies and medications.

Relies oninstructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of thejob. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.

The ideal candidatewill have a flexible schedule of availability to work shifts as needed by thedepartment.



Qualifications

Education:

High Schooldiploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

Previous experiencein a medical facility preferred.

Skills:

Computer - Wordprocessing - Good command of the English language both verbal and written.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required:

Valid ArizonaDriver's license

BLS certificationcard - American Heart Association (CPR)
