Job Description
The successful candidate for our Logistics Operations Consultant - Senior will provide excellent analytical support to the Retail Last Mile Delivery team. Specifically, maintain and improve upon current performance measures for all couriers and carriers as well as the process to pay invoices. Work with the Digital team to develop customized reporting to measure the carriers/couriers performance and pay invoices. Transition current carriers/couriers supplied dashboard reporting to CVS generated. Maintain data repository, summarize results & report out.

Responsibilities include:
- Partner with key stakeholders to define and monitor key performance indicators
- Build and maintain automated processes to merge data from multiple sources; Leverage relational data to produce and enhance operational reporting
- Conduct analysis and build models to uncover key learnings from operational and financial data that can be translated into concrete, actionable recommendations for system or process improvement
- Collaborate with cross functional business partners on the development and implementation of plans, procedures, programs, and strategies that lead to improved performance and financial outcomes
- Support ad-hoc analytics as assigned by Supply Chain leadership
- Audit weekly courier invoices for accuracy
- Analyze and monitor all delivery performance, rates and service results

Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of analytics experience required.
- Prior experience in supply chain, project management, financial planning and cost accounting strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus
- Experience with SQL or other data-mining tools
- Experience with Data Visualization software like Tableau
- Ability to diagnose problems, seek insights beyond the immediately obvious, and recommend practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate analysis in a simplified, concise, and actionable manner to leadership
- Self-starter who is able to work both independently and as a member of an integrated item

- Bachelor's Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Financial Planning or Analytics preferred
