Job Description

The purpose of this job is to provide logistical support for the rack marketing team via load control and allocation control, in addition to various price generation and review functions and special projects. In addition, the role assists customers with allocation or loading errors as they occur. 


1. Perform complex configuration of terminal allocation systems for daily and monthly changes in support of of contract and discretionary customers, and impromptu changes in support of internal and external customers

2. Configure customers and loading numbers in multiple terminal automation systems for internal and external customers

3. Resolve account setup and/or loading problems

4. Maintain product database and other terminal databases, as needed

5. Direct phone and email support of customers for loading issue research, correction and communication

6. Generate and distribute daily marketing posted prices

7. Create daily and monthly management reports for both internal and customer review

8. Perform after-hours hotline support, on a rotational basis, to correct customer loading issues

9. Partner with Marketing, Scheduling, and the set-up teams to implement new customer rollouts


  • High School diploma or equivalent certification required
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum two years’ experience in petroleum products industry preferred


  • Intermediate Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of petroleum products industry with emphasis on gasoline and diesel products preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of petroleum industry allocation systems such as TopTech, Diamond, TABS, TDS or Atlas Preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of working in IBM AS/400 environment preferred but not required


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use multiple software packages
  • Ability to think logically and to incorporate multiple variables in a troubleshooting environment
  • Plans, prioritizes and organized work effectively; uses resources (people, time, materials, etc.) in a cost-effective manner
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manages multiple tasks, maintaining maximum productivity
